Byron Center is an interesting situation, as you could live in "Byron Center" but live in a different township. Byron Township includes portions of Gaines Township to the east in Kent County, and James Township to the west in Ottowa County, and parts of Salem Township to the southwest, and Dorr Township to the south in Allegan County - WHEW!!!

Many human-made lake communities in this area. Other than the downtown area and some original farm homes, most homes are newer construction. The beautiful Rail Side Country club and golf course has one of the most beautiful grounds. People travel afar to visit Bryon Center Meats.
