About Michelle

In 2001, Michelle moved with her family to East Grand Rapids, Michigan from the East Coast. She employed her background in interior design and found that she not only enjoyed the design work but wanted the closure of selling the designs as well! Working as a part-time real estate agent, she soon realized that she couldn’t provide the service she wanted, and switched to full-time. She started small, working her way through short sales and foreclosures to become very well-versed in the industry – meaning there isn’t a real estate transaction she can’t handle!
Building her business became her passion and goal. She now has a team of dedicated agents and staff who also have a passion for real estate. Having a team of support allows her agents to have a life outside the office with their family while their clients still get full-time service.

Michelle has cultivated the team to cover luxury sales and has created a website and marketing strategy that caters uniquely to the Luxury Home Market. The Gordon Group Commercial division was a natural addition that allows the team to cater to their luxury clients’ commercial needs.

Michelle has always loved working with first-time home buyers and makes training her agents to be the best resource to their first-time home buyers a priority. She demands ongoing education that goes beyond the state requirement and weekly meetings with the team to make sure all its members are in constant communication.
In her spare time (when there is any!), she enjoys date nights with her husband and spending time with her grown children. She loves spending time with family and friends by the pool and enjoying great food and wine!

Amanda Gordon

About Amanda

Described by her clients as both “compassionate” and “a bulldog”, Amanda embodies a rare personality combination that makes her the perfect real estate agent. As a 2nd generation Realtor, it’s no wonder — it’s in her blood!

Amanda bought her first home at the age of 22 and performed a complete renovation on it. The 1920’s home reboot was a great opportunity for her to gain a true understanding of what’s behind the walls of a home.

Amanda has worked in real estate in some capacity since the age of 13. By the age of 16, she was working summers in her mother’s office, making sure paperwork was turned in and done correctly. By 18, she worked as an admin until she was ready to get her license. Her years of first-hand experience before getting her license has given her a wealth of training and experience. Now, Amanda works in both residential and commercial real estate and has earned the position of Lead Listing Agent.

Being raised and schooled in East Grand Rapids, Amanda has strong community connections. She, like her mother, enjoys being part of a Local First business and makes an effort to get her clients connected with the best fit for their needs.

She now lives in her renovated home with her two dogs and a cat. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, watching hockey, and volunteering.

Beckie is a native of Grand Rapids, and grew up in the Forest Hills area. A true "Grand Rapidian", she attended Aquinas College on scholarship while playing soccer. This makes Beckie a great team member, as she knows what it is like to be part of a team and how to win! She has a background in hospitality, and the meaning of customer service is not foreign to her, she gets it! Beckie is married with 3 active kids, She is also a dog lover just like the rest of The Gordon Group. She was once a client of The Gordon Group, sold and bought a new home with us. Michelle sees talent and recruited Beckie and has never looked back.
